Tonite's cafe night about diversity is a cool idea. I'd like to have a whole weekend of diversity at AH. It would be cool to expand the all the nations represented in our church. We could have Sabbath service in different languages culminated by the biggest social AH has had in a long time.
Hello there Advent Hope family and internet world. I am glad that it's the first of the month because we get to experience Cafe Night. It's a fun and alternative way of spending the first hours of the Sabbath. Andrea is giving us an insight into her life. Pretty interesting. Oh boy technical difficulties! Alway an adventure at Advent Hope!

Andrea's "pecha kucha" presentation was great! I'm sad to say that I was also asked, but chose not to share. And now....the light has gone from me.

Rebecca Hernandez (no middle name and with a rolled are is being interviewed). She was born in the Bronx and loves the people...She people watches.
I love today's topic. Diversity is a very important. In our contemporary world every community has become a global village. It is amazing to see the mix of people and how cultures become hybrid. Diversity is particular relevant and important to the church- because Gods people are a diverse group and because God does not discriminate. Understand what makes us different can help us understand what we have in common...the love of Jesus Christ.
I really enjoyed tonight's theme/discussion.Last time i attended
Cafe Night, it wasn't as invigorating as tonight's discussion. I hope other Cafe Night's soon to come will be as vivacious as this one.
I especially love Julie Lewis's story. It is a powerful and compelling story of reconnecting with Christ. It helps me to appreciate life, friends and family.
Take some time from your busy to have fun, fellowship and discover a community of love. Dont miss the upcoming Cafe Nite. It is a bargain of a lifetime.
